About me
My name is Anett Hoffmann, I am the artist behind these works.
I was born Anett Fischer in Dresden and have lived here on the beautiful Lake Constance peninsula of Höri, right on the Swiss border, for 31 years.
I have had a passion for painting since early childhood. For me, painting means turning inwards, allowing peace, emotions and thoughts to flow into a picture. Music also plays an important role in my life. I love both classical and modern music, including works by Tchaikovsky, Beethoven, Schubert, Gin Wigmore and The Animals. Fine lines in combination with abstract art are particularly important in my thoughts. The result is an image that is clear to see and at the same time thought-provoking due to its abstract elements. Especially on large-format oil or acrylic paintings, I can give free rein to my thoughts.
When I paint, my focus is on bringing peace into a picture. This is why my works often feature calm motifs such as the Buddha, the deer and other peaceful depictions.
Each of my works tells its own story – of a unique moment or a special detail that will never exist in the same way again. My aim with my paintings is to give joy, peace and inspiration that touch.

From April 12 to May 17, 2025, the see(h)arte exhibition at the Seemaxx Outlet Center in Radolfzell invites art lovers and the curious alike to a fascinating show of contemporary art.
